Mark your calendar for the annual Forest Moon Festival which celebrates all things Star Wars

Crescent City, California will host a number of fun, family-friendly activities during the Forest Moon Festival happening May 31 through June 2, 2024. From a FREE film screening and a pre-party festival to a Rebel Challenge obstacle course, costume contest and parade all taking place at Crescent City’s scenic Beachfront Park.

So if you are wondering why we celebrate Star Wars around here, it’s because nearby Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park — one of the two Redwood National Parks in Del Norte County, California — was the movie filming site for Planet Endor, otherwise known as the land of the Ewoks.

Whether you’re a fan or not, you’ll want to reserve your RV or camping site at Lighthouse Cove RV Park because you’ll get to stay close — and walk over — to all the action and events happening at Beachfront Park during the festival!

Visit the Forest Moon Festival event page for more information and all events happening throughout Del Norte County.
